Funeral services for Mrs. Marion Foxworthy were held at the Christian Church on Sat. afternoon. She died very suddenly. Mesdames Rotha Spencer, Fred Belles and Charles Scribner of Russellville and Paul Hester accompanied by Mrs. Walter Taylor at the piano sang, "Abide With Me," "Saved by Grace," and "It is Well with my Soul." Pallbearers were friends and relatives of the deceased. Rev. McGaughey of Veedersburg had charge of the services. Burial in the Waynetown Cemetery. - kbz

Mrs. Marion FOXWORTHY died at her home near Browns Valley at 8:40 Wed night a victim of heart trouble. She had been ill for only two days and her death came as a distinct shock to the entire community. Mrs. Foxworthy was born in Fountain County near Veedersburg Nov 16, 1875, the daughter of Volney and Harriet Hatton (sic - it is Patton) and on Dec 5, 1901, she married Marion Foxworthy. She was a member of the United Brethren Church at New Century. She is survived by her husband, two sons, Donald of Monte Vista, Colorado, Marion at home and one daughter Lural Foxoworthy who is taking nurse's training at the Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. Funeral arrangements have not been made pending arrival of word from the son in Colorado. -- kbz
